Your Donation Counts

As an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, tax ID 81-2161762, your donation is tax-deductible, and it counts. Over 50% of our funding comes from grants and donations. Contributions are used to provide safe and effective training to help first responders and other emergency personnel live a life of wellness despite the death, destruction, and trauma they witness in the line of duty along with the limited budget of public safety agencies for this type of training.

Support YFFR's Mission

How far can your donation go?

Because Yoga For First Responders® trains personnel and community members to teach in their local departments, YFFR can help responders in large cities and small towns alike. Yoga For First Responders® has certified teachers in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and beyond who bring job-specific and culturally informed yoga to first responders and military personnel in departments and academies. Your donation will help provide in-service education, training scholarships, classes, and online resources to get this training to those who need it most.

There for those who serve

First responders and military personnel carry the weight of their own safety and well-being as well as those they serve. Like you, we believe every responder deserves care in return for the service they provide to their local communities and country. Thanks to donors like you, even departments without a wellness budget are able to provide this life-saving, resilience-building training so their responders can continue to perform their duty at optimal level for years to come. Your support means YogaShield® Yoga For First Responders® can focus on what matters most — caring for the lives of those who put theirs on the line. Preparing, supporting, and protecting those who serve.
